Was that the most disgusting tactics employed by a West Ham manager?
Shit season.
No chance of being relegated.
Fans in need of an end of season pick me up.....

Bilic employs a back 10 for the first 55 minutes.
Possibly the most defensive set up ever seen at West Ham.

Why?
Was Bilic about self preservation today and sod the fans?
Was his thinking that finishing the season 3 games unbeaten, would look good statistically and guarantee his job next season?
Was this the true Bilic who thinks of himself and forgets the fans like he did as a player for us?

Syd King's use of pits of quicksand scattered across the pitch in locations known only to the West Ham players was pretty nasty...

Razz, Aere you saying mark (slowball) Noble or Cheik (50 pence feet) Kouyate or Andy (7 goals all season) carroll would have made a difference yesterday? Behave.

I wasn't North.

We made ourselves look like Richdale against mighty Spurs last Friday.
There was a time, not too long ago, where Spurs were thought to be only a bit bigger than us, ow it is like Aldi and Waitrose......no need to ask which one we are!

The first 50 odd minutes yesterday we played a back 9, no wingbacks, no back 3 just a solid back 9

Worked v Spurs... everyone was happy as Larry then

Part of the problem is the club/manager get away with so much because fans genuinely do not see what is happening.

Re: Was that the most disgusting tactics employed by a West Ham manager?
We have 4 clean sheets from the last 5 games playing a back three and wing backs, and Bilic takes off Fonte and goes to a 4 - the flood gates open!

End of the day we'd have lost whatever formation he put out as zero effort from the players will do that!...where was the hunting in packs and closing down all over the park as we did vs Spurs..?..non existent hence a heavy defeat!!..unacceptable

Re: Was that the most disgusting tactics employed by a West Ham manager?
There was a 3rd moment IMO.

The removal of Fonte at 2-0, switching to a back four and making the subs he made. All made us much worse and Liverpool could and arguably should have scored 8.

But the problem that has been with our squad for multiple seasons continues. Lack of mobility /pace /strength / intensity and esepcially in midfield. Even with Noble and Kouyate it would have been an issue IMO. Liverpool pressed and exposed it. Without movement and passing options Liverpool forced us to hit aimless balls any time we had it and we simply did not have the ability to get the ball back.

The back 3 has been the best formation to paper over the mobility issue. It stops a lot of teams by closing the space "between the lines" of defence and midfield because we cannot handle pace and counter attacking. But Liverpool are the best at pressing and have a lot more pace then Spurs up front with Origi and players breaking from midfield. They unlocked us and then Bilic gave them a free run by removing the back 3.

So the tactics were intended to improve but Bilic's inability to see the issue or he was just giving some of the squad a run out actually made things turn from defeat to humiliation.

Re: Was that the most disgusting tactics employed by a West Ham manager?
First 15 mins we did ok and attacked quite a bit down the left hand side. Cresswell was causing all sorts of problems

Not a lot happened after that but there were 2 key moments, Ayew missing a sitter and then the obvious penalty at 2-0.

Not much Bilic could do about either moment.

Re: Was that the most disgusting tactics employed by a West Ham manager?
The gh, what are you talking about?
You do realise that Crystal Palace e beat Liverpool area Annfield a couple of weeks ago.
Yesterday Liverpool had Manea, firminho missing and there was a great chance to go at them but Bilic fucked the fans and selfishly worried only about himself.
